It truly depends. If you’re just starting out or you think your copy is going to change in the near future, I recommend learning how to effectively write copy yourself instead of making the big investment of hiring a copywriter, only to make changes in the not-so-distant future. Plus, if you learn how to write intentional and intoxicating copy, you’ll be able to translate that to almost every other aspect of your business, from your email marketing to your Insta captions to sales pitches and more. 

That all being said, if copy just really isn’t your forte or you want to spend your valuable time doing something else, I have some recommendations in my network that I’d be more than happy to share with you!

If you don’t have your brand photography already done, finding a brand photographer and setting up a photoshoot is the first thing you should do after booking your VIP Website Experience. 

Designing a website is a lot like planning a wedding. A wedding doesn’t just come together overnight. There’s the venue, the catering, floral arrangements, guest lists, etc., and all that can be a lot of work, but it finally all comes together on the Big Day! Just like how your copy, images, videos, branding, and everything else will all come together on the Big Day of your VIP Web Design Experience to craft your website!

While I can’t answer this question fully because each experience is tailored to each unique client, I will give you a typical run-down. 

After you apply and I review your application, I will send you some more information if I think we could be a good fit. Next, you put down a fully refundable deposit and we connect to start planning your website. Once the deets are determined and you submit your payment, I send over the valuable information and resources you need to start the prep work and I start planning the design, including drafting up a mood board for you. I also send you a little gift to celebrate - or maybe for motivation since, let’s be real, prep work is typically something we dread.

We connect via Voxer until the Big Day arrives, and that’s when the magic happens. You get a completely unique experience that’s essentially all-inclusive, from branding and copy to web design and launch content.

It’s way more beneficial to start from scratch. Think about it, when you’re served a cocktail you know wasn’t made correctly or just doesn’t taste right, and you politely let your server know, they REMAKE it! They don’t try to fix it as is. They start from scratch to get those measurements just right and make sure your cocktail is perfect.
